Full Moon Giveaway for Cancer

The Full Moon in Cancer is Wednesday, January 19th, at 4:22pm (ET), and that means a Full Moon Giveaway for Moonchildren! This is an especially important Moon for sun sign Cancers (and anyone with strong planets in Cancer) because it is the culmination point of the Solar Eclipse in Cancer from July 11, 2010.

What is manifesting in your life as a symbol of that eclipse? Think Cancerian issues ~ mother, memories, home, roots, nurturing ~ and apply them to the house in which the eclipse occurred. The upcoming Full Moon post will cover this in more detail.

Teh full moon is at the end of a sign pair, this one at 29°27′ Cancer-Capricorn/
Cancer is my black moon, Capricorn my sun sign and I have the cancer in the 5th house together with Uranus in my birth horoscope. What to expect?

It’s so hard to try to read a chart without seeing the whole chart, so I hesitate to do it out of context. There are so many hidden things in a chart that color a placement. I don’t know anything about the black moon, so I can’t offer anything there.

The last degree of a sign is kind of at a crisis point. It’s in the last decan and duad of the sign, so with a 29Cancer placement, it has the sub-flavor of the Pisces decan, and the sub-sub-flavor of Gemini (the duad) and it’s moving into Leo. What to do?! Look for supporting placements elsewhere in the chart to see what’s strong. Is Neptune (Pisces decan) or Mercury (Gemini duad) strong? It’s a treasure hunt.

This post might help bring a few insights on the third decan of Cancer: Astrological Picture Book ~ 3rd Decan Cancer, The Mystic Crab. I’m hoping I can get a post about the Cap decans up before we leave Cap, but time is so elusive.

IF the full moon is in aspect to any of your planets, use that focus for the next month to make progress on projects with a Cancer/Cap theme. We have to bring them into balance. A Full Moon always demands balance.
