Full Moon over Manhattan

This pic was taken last night by a friend of mine in Manhattan and she let me share it with you. It’s a bit on the unnerving side, and exactly how I’ve felt during this Full Moon in Libra.

The sky looks like the ocean and nothing has clear boundaries.

Aries, There’s a Libra in Your Closet

For every Libra, there’s an Aries in the closet.

And vice versa.

LIBRA

LIBRA (Photo credit: KTDEE….back on track I hope.)

We know that every sign contains bits and pieces of its opposite, but Bil’s phrasing was spot on. Perhaps the Full Moon is when the closet door is opened wide and that hidden Libra rushes out. The rest of the time the door is shut tight ~ no light in that dark little room.

We could say that about all opposing signs.

IMO, the Aries/Libra axis is one of the most interesting in the zodiac. Everything can be in order or completely upside down.

Take Aries and Libra rising, for example. Aries rising has Libra on 7th house. Are they looking for a partner who needs a partner, or is Aries more of a partner than we think? You know the type ~ all ablaze on the outside, but a real teddy-bear underneath.

The Libra rising chart is completely topsy-turvy, 100% upside down. Is Libra rising looking for a partner who is independent, active, and otherwise Arian? Or is Libra Rising too independent, active, and otherwise Arian as a partner? You know this type, too ~ charming and amenable on the outside, but rather disagreeable and selfish when you get them alone.

Aries and Libra rising could work either way, of course, or another way altogether. None of us were made with a cookie cutter.

How is Libra Hidden in Your Chart?

Full Moons are the best time of year to take a good close look at the polarities in our charts. Full Moon in Libra is the best time to take notice of the Aries/Libra polarities in the spring. The Full Moon in Aries in the autumn is another chance.

Since everything is said to come to light during the Full Moon, our closeted Libra is likely to show up. It’s a naturally good time to see what kind of Libra we’re brandishing in our own chart.

New Moon in Capricorn in the Houses

Other than beginnings and starting new projects, what is the New Moon all about, really?

Capricorn, the Sea Goat

When the Moon is new, the Sun and the Moon are in the same degree. That’s a big deal. The Sun is highlighting an issue or two of some kind and the Moon is telling us how we are likely to respond to those issues emotionally.

I don’t think the sign is the most important thing about the New Moon, except with lunar gardening. My personal experience has shown that, astrologically, the emphasis is on the house the New Moon occupies.

No matter what your Sun sign is, when the New Moon is in Capricorn you should handle its house issues in a cautious and responsible manner. Cautious, not fearful. There are additional ways to respond using Capricorn qualities of course.

Cautiously Responsibly
Seriously Forcefully
Ambitiously Reliably
Respectfully Commanding
Dutifully Persistently
Wittily Self-reliantly
Authoritatively

First House
Your Appearance, Your Body
The Impression You Make On Others

The New Moon in the first house always shines a spotlight on your appearance. Does your appearance live up to the commanding presence you are more than capable of projecting? This is a good time to take a good, close look at your clothes and make sure everything is in top-notch shape. Are you dressed for success? Always be seen at your best when the New Moon is in the first. Continue reading

Moon in Gemini ~ Project Gutenberg and Free E-Book Downloads

.

I am laughing at myself because I’ve just spent several hours downloading free books from Project Gutenberg, free books for the Kindle from Amazon, and other ebooks from other websites. OMG!! What fun!

Here’s the Moon in Gemini at work on the mind:

  • Decided to read through the June issue of Dell Horoscope
  • Caught Chris Lorenz’s review of Time on Your Hands: A Study in Palmistry by Maiya Gray-Cobb (Gemini/Mercury are associated with the hands)
  • Logged onto Amazon to check it out
  • Did a search for more books on palmistry
  • Saw Cheiro’s Palmistry for All listed as a free kindle download (I only have Kindle on my pc)
  • Noticed Thought-Forms for free download with a note that it might be found elsewhere on the web.
  • Searched and found a color copy at Project Gutenberg
  • Searched Project Gutenberg for other topics

And on and on and on.

So now I have several new e-books downloaded to read through at my leisure. Now I’m going to make some phone calls and settle in to writing some reports.

Just had to stop and laugh with Luna.
